1. Introduction

ZeFoX ("ZeFoX", "we", "our", or "us") is a browser extension designed to improve the Roblox website experience with features such as server ping badges, estimated server regions, server filters, recent servers, favorite friends, avatar tools, display customization, account switching, and optional Discord Rich Presence support.

2. Information ZeFoX Uses

ZeFoX may use or store the following types of information depending on which features the user enables.

ZeFoX does not send extension settings, saved accounts, Roblox cookies, favorite friends, recent servers, playtime history, fake Robux display values, or other locally saved extension data to a ZeFoX-hosted database, webhook, analytics endpoint, advertising network, or remote ZeFoX server.

2.1 Extension Settings

ZeFoX stores extension settings such as:

  • Whether ZeFoX is enabled
  • Enabled or disabled feature toggles
  • Popup settings
  • Fake Robux display preferences
  • Tab styling preferences
  • Favorite friends settings
  • Avatar tools settings
  • Most played games settings

This information is used only to remember the user's preferences.

2.2 Roblox Website Data

ZeFoX runs on Roblox website pages and may read page content needed to provide extension features, including:

  • Server cards
  • Game pages
  • Profile pages
  • Avatar pages
  • Home page sections
  • Friend request UI
  • Roblox navigation elements

This information is used to modify the page locally in the browser and display ZeFoX features.

2.3 Roblox Account Information

When needed for certain features, ZeFoX may request Roblox account information from Roblox APIs, such as:

  • Roblox user ID
  • Username
  • Display name
  • Avatar thumbnail
  • Profile URL
  • Friend information
  • Presence status
  • Avatar/outfit information

This is used for features such as favorite friends, avatar tools, most played games, account switching, and optional Discord Rich Presence. Roblox API requests are sent directly to Roblox services, not to a ZeFoX database or webhook.

2.4 Server and Game Information

ZeFoX may process Roblox server and game information, including:

  • Place IDs
  • Server IDs
  • Server ping
  • Estimated server region
  • Recent servers
  • Game thumbnails
  • Game names
  • Playtime history stored locally for the "Most Played Games" feature

This information is used to show server tools, recent servers, and game history features. Saved server and game history data is stored locally by the extension.

2.5 Account Switcher Data

If the user chooses to use the account switcher feature, ZeFoX may save Roblox cookies locally in the user's browser.

Saved account data may include:

  • Roblox cookies
  • Roblox username
  • Roblox display name
  • Roblox user ID
  • Avatar thumbnail
  • Saved account label
Important cookie notice

Roblox cookies are sensitive. Users should only use this feature on their own trusted device. ZeFoX does not upload saved Roblox cookies to a ZeFoX server.

2.6 Optional Discord Rich Presence Data

If the optional Discord Presence Bridge is enabled, ZeFoX may send limited account and activity information to a local app running on the user's own computer.

This may include:

  • Roblox username
  • Roblox display name
  • Roblox user ID
  • Avatar thumbnail URL
  • Roblox profile URL
  • Whether Rich Presence is enabled

This data is sent only to the local Presence Bridge at 127.0.0.1 and is used to update Discord Rich Presence.

3. How ZeFoX Uses Information

ZeFoX uses information only to provide extension features, including:

  • Displaying Roblox server ping
  • Showing estimated server regions
  • Filtering and improving server lists
  • Saving and showing recent servers
  • Showing favorite friends
  • Displaying avatar and outfit tools
  • Showing most played games
  • Changing local Roblox page visuals
  • Displaying client-sided fake Robux values
  • Displaying a client-sided local verified badge
  • Saving extension preferences
  • Supporting optional Discord Rich Presence
  • Supporting account switching if the user enables it

ZeFoX does not sell user data.

ZeFoX does not use user data for advertising.

ZeFoX does not share user data with advertising networks.

4. Data Storage

ZeFoX stores extension data locally in the user's browser using Chrome extension storage and browser storage.

Some settings may be stored using Chrome sync storage so settings can sync between Chrome profiles if the user has Chrome sync enabled.

Data stored locally may include:

  • Extension settings
  • Favorite friends
  • Recent servers
  • Most played games
  • Cached thumbnails
  • Fake Robux display values
  • Saved account data
  • Roblox cookies for the account switcher feature

ZeFoX does not operate a remote database for extension data. Locally stored extension data is not uploaded to a ZeFoX server, webhook, or analytics endpoint.

The main exceptions are direct requests to Roblox services needed for extension features, optional Chrome sync handled by the browser, optional IP or region lookup requests for server-region features, and optional communication with the local Discord Presence Bridge on the user's own computer.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Roblox

ZeFoX interacts with Roblox websites and Roblox APIs to provide its features. Requests may be sent to Roblox domains such as:

  • roblox.com
  • www.roblox.com
  • web.roblox.com
  • games.roblox.com
  • avatar.roblox.com
  • catalog.roblox.com
  • users.roblox.com
  • thumbnails.roblox.com
  • friends.roblox.com
  • presence.roblox.com
  • auth.roblox.com

Roblox's own privacy policy applies to Roblox services.

5.2 Local Discord Presence Bridge

ZeFoX may communicate with a local app running on the user's device at 127.0.0.1.

This is used only for the optional Discord Rich Presence feature. This communication stays on the user's own computer unless the local Presence Bridge updates Discord Rich Presence through Discord's own app or services.

5.3 IP/Region Lookup Services

ZeFoX may use IP or region lookup services to estimate Roblox server regions when the feature is enabled. Region results are used to display approximate server location information.

These lookups are for server-region features and are not used to upload saved accounts, Roblox cookies, extension settings, or locally stored ZeFoX data.

6. Chrome Permissions

ZeFoX requests Chrome permissions needed for its features, including:

  • storage: used to save settings and local ZeFoX data.
  • cookies: used for the optional account switcher feature.
  • declarativeNetRequest: used to support Roblox join requests and related extension behavior.
  • host permissions for Roblox domains: used so ZeFoX can run on Roblox pages and request Roblox API data needed for features.
  • localhost permission: used for the optional Presence Bridge.

ZeFoX only uses permissions for extension functionality.

7. Account Switcher and Cookies

The account switcher feature is optional.

If users save accounts, ZeFoX stores Roblox cookies locally so users can switch between saved Roblox accounts.

Important:

  • Saved cookies stay local in the browser.
  • Saved cookies are not uploaded to a ZeFoX server.
  • Anyone with access to the user's browser profile or device may be able to access local browser data.
  • Users should only use this feature on trusted personal devices.

Users can delete saved account data by removing saved accounts or using the Delete Cache option in the ZeFoX popup.

8. Client-Sided Display Features

ZeFoX includes client-sided display customization features.

The local verified badge feature only changes what the user sees in their own browser. It does not grant a real Roblox verified badge.

The Fake Robux feature only changes visible Robux text locally in the user's browser. It does not change the user's real Roblox balance, account, inventory, purchases, or Roblox servers.

9. Data Sharing

ZeFoX does not sell personal data.

ZeFoX does not share user data with advertisers.

ZeFoX does not operate an advertising network.

ZeFoX does not send locally stored extension data to a ZeFoX-hosted database, webhook, analytics endpoint, or advertising network.

Because ZeFoX stores extension data locally, ZeFoX generally cannot access or disclose the user's locally stored extension data. If a user contacts ZeFoX for support, ZeFoX may receive and use only the information the user chooses to provide.

10. Data Retention

ZeFoX data is kept locally for as long as the extension is installed or until the user deletes it.

Because ZeFoX does not keep a remote extension-data database, deleting local browser or extension data is the main way to remove ZeFoX data.

Users can delete ZeFoX data by:

  • Using the Delete Cache button in the ZeFoX popup
  • Removing saved accounts from ZeFoX
  • Clearing browser extension data
  • Uninstalling the extension
  • Clearing Roblox site data from the browser

11. Data Security

ZeFoX uses browser-provided storage systems to store extension data.

Users are responsible for keeping their browser profile, device, and operating system secure.

Because saved Roblox cookies are sensitive, users should not use the account switcher feature on public, shared, or untrusted devices.

12. Children's Privacy

ZeFoX is designed for use with the Roblox website. Users must follow Roblox's own terms, privacy policy, and age requirements.

ZeFoX does not knowingly operate a separate service for collecting personal information from children.

If a parent or guardian believes that data should be removed, they may contact .

13. User Rights

Depending on the user's location, users may have rights to:

  • Access information about their data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of data
  • Object to certain processing
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Request portability of data
  • Withdraw consent where consent is used

ZeFoX extension data is stored locally in the user's own browser and can be deleted by the user directly.

For privacy requests, contact .

14. International Users

ZeFoX may be used by users in different countries. Roblox and browser services may process data according to their own privacy policies and infrastructure.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

ZeFoX may update this Privacy Policy when features change, when the extension changes, or when legal requirements change.

The updated version will be posted on the official ZeFoX website or Chrome Web Store listing.
